I have a CS 27 and want to replace the vinyl panels in the cabin. These panels are the ones that surround the windows. I also need to replace the trim that edjes the vinyl at the windows.
Does anyone have any advice about doing this? Do I need special material, etc?
Many thanks for any help

Hey Nellie I too have a CS 27, I just purchased it and will be working on it over the next few months. I will be completely overhauling the interior as well as the exterior. Maybe we could swap Ideas.

I bought a CS27 last year that needed some serious TLC. Completely overhauling the interior since virtually all wood including the sole are bad. There is an excellent store in Toronto that carries all CS parts where I have been doing most of my shopping. Contact me and we can swap stories and pictures.

Well I am almost ready to launch my cs27 It has been a hard slog between work and working on the boat. I did find some good alternatives hat really worked out. The headliner came out like NEW!. I found this product in Portsmouth VA. It was a PVC hollow core. Cheap and very strong. The amazing thing was how easy it was to trim. I am a Paperhanger so it was a snap for me. I simply traced the old panels witha pencil then trimmed with a razor knife, the result was great.

I have posted this question in another area, but perhaps it should be in "interiors". Does anyone know how I can install and best placement of an automatic bilge pump for my 1979/80 CS27. She keeps pretty dry except for power washings and very heavy rains. All info received with thanks.

I am the new owner of a cs27 in need of new cabin linings- sides as well as headliner. What is the name or source of the material you used to replace your headliner? Also has anyone replaced the ports?
